Ferry Trip North ... Feb 11 through Feb 14

The dogs have adjusted quite well. Unfortunately, they are required to remain on the car deck and can't come up to visit. However considering their manners, that is probably just as well ...

My office (and bedroom). There are only 82 people on this ferry so there is lots of room to spread out. No one has to sleep outside.

I checked in with the purser (on their request) and was registered as a "medical assistant" in case of a medical emergency on the ferry. The gave me a tour of their first aid room,which I was surprised to find included all the workings of a respectable medic unit, including a LP12, an assortment of drugs (everything except narcotics), intubation equipment, etc.

The waves were more impressive in real life than they look in the picture. Sometimes the spray from the sideways waves would come all the way up onto the deck. We were not supposed to be outside.
