Looks like it all fits!

Thanks to so many people for so many reasons (in my still jet-lagged state, I´m sure I forgot someone!)

My parents Ned and Eva and my dear friends Ed and Gloria (of course)

Roger and Sue for taking care of Nally (and lots more)

Linda for putting up with the pups and putting my mind at ease

Orson, Deb, Jackson, and Ilish: chickens, lawn, garden, watering, etc!

Jill: the awesome dried food for my hike -- yummy!

Jeff A: for making sure the photos turned out well!

Marg: all those bags you made me are VERY handy!

Margret for teaching me some Icelandic words and phrases, and invaluable advice about the trip

Mark, Karl, Larry, and Donna, the same (your advice has been great!)

Getting ready was the usual -- a bit frantic ... making sure I knew how to set up the tent, and trying to fit everything into my backpack

Can't get enough of the beautiful flowers, birds, and landscapes of Iceland? Here are some more pics. I've done my best to identify the species, but I'd welcome corrections, suggestions, etc from any of you who are more experienced birders, alpine plant enthusiasts, etc (hint, hint, Scott and Terry!).
